Infinity Futures Position CSV Instructions
There isn't a CSV file that snapshots your current holdings, which is a bummer. But not to worry! There's an easy way to get up and running.
1. To add an Infinity Futures account, you'll just enter the name of it in the form on the right, and then select "Infinity Futures" as the brokerage. You can ignore the file upload field.
2. Then click the blue button to submit.
This will bring you to a success confirmation screen. If this is your last account to add, you can click "Done" and get into the main section of the site.
Come back to these instructions after you do that (you can just search for "Infinity Futures" in the little blue help window in the bottom right)
3. To get set up properly, you will need to manually enter your current holdings (so Wingman knows how to interpret your trades going forward).
4. To do this, go to the Import Trades page after you create the account.
5. Then toggle to "Manual" mode instead of CSV.
6. For each of your open positions, create a BUY_TO_OPEN or SELL_TO_OPEN transaction to initiate the position in Wingman (Buy for long positions, Sell for short positions).
7. When asked for the Expiration Date, choose the month and year of the contract, but select the 1st day of that month. This is really import. If you select a day other than the 1st, your closing transactions won't match up.
This is only the case for futures transactions, as the CSVs from all brokerages only supply the month and year, not the day of expiration. But it won't really make a difference to your usage and benefit from Wingman.
8. Going forward, you can follow the instructions at the bottom of the Import Trades page to get the CSV of transaction data and upload that in CSV mode. You shouldn't have to manually enter trades after that initial position sync.
