thinkorswim: Missing Data in Transaction CSV

Thinkorswim users may notice that some transaction data is missing after importing a CSV. The cause is that the default transaction CSV that thinkorswim exports lacks some data fields such as:

  • Commissions
  • Option expiration transactions
  • Option assignment transactions

To resolve the issue, thinkorswim users must request Advanced Features be enabled on their account. There is no cost to having Advanced Features enabled and only takes about one or two business days for TD Ameritrade to enable it. To request activation of Advanced Features, send an email/chat/support request to TD Ameritrade stating you wish to have Advanced Features enabled on your account.
