Delete an Account

Accounts can be deleted from the Accounts page. Do note that accounts that are deleted cannot be recovered.

Some users may wish to delete an existing account in order to start fresh in a new account. Please remember that Wingman will not import transactions that occurred before the date the account was created. So if you started an account two months ago, then you cannot recreate that same account starting from the same point in time (i.e. two months ago). Only transaction that occurred after today's date will be imported.

Follow the steps below to delete an account.

  1. Click on the Accounts menu item.
  2. Click Delete on the account you wish to delete.

  3. Click Ok in the two dialog boxes that appear. Remember that once an account is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
  4. The account is now deleted.
